So I have a dream. This dream consists of me being able to drive on the roads with a peace-of-mind that I won't get run off the freeway by some old lady/man - who smells way too much like broccoli - particularly because they cannot see their blindspot.
I honestly cannot believe that half the people driving on our roads actually have permits. In turn, it irritates me that I know that they really do have licenses! Old people are the worst though. Especially the elderly folk that drive cars that are worth more than my life. They don't need those cars. I need those cars. I can handle those cars. They cannot possibly take the reigns of those cars. They can't do it safely, anyway. It bugs the poop out of me!
If I were President of the United States, anyone old enough to get the senior discount at Denny's would have to go through a series of rigorous tests (and by rigorous, I mean to the point of crying) in order to get a license. If they don't pass, they don't drive. If they don't drive, they don't threaten my life. And everyone goes home happy. Well, that would make me happy and that's all that matters. If they want a say in this matter, they sign over their Social Security check. Now, we all know that they would never do that, so it's practically foolproof.
K, so I'm gonna sum this up now. As far as I'm concerned, cars are like super big weapons. One slip-up and you could kill someone instantly with that weapon. It's kind of like why I wouldn't buy my grandpa a gun. Why? Because he can't safely handle a weapon. My grandpa is also possibly the world's worst driver. See the correlation? I see the correlation. Every time I am in a moving vehicle with that man, I see the correlation. Even if he's not driving I get kind of ancy... The point is that we need tougher regulations on who should be able to drive. End of story. Thanks for reading.
